01 · SOURCE INFORMATION

Where the details came from

Operator websites and owner submissions contain reported claims. Outreach contacts come from Aashian’s project records. Reference lists and 2024 PDFs are historical leads. Every listing identifies its available source and date; a source consultation or file-update date is not an inspection date.

Photos are labelled as historical source images or unverified owner uploads. Illustrations and AI brand artwork are labelled separately.

02 · DATED CONFIRMATIONS

What was checked, and when

Aashian can record a real phone discussion or property visit with its date and the specific details checked. When present, this appears as “Details last confirmed” in the listing’s source section.

Only the recorded scope is covered. A discussion about rent does not establish hygiene or security. A visit entry does not grant the planned full verification badge. Details can change after any confirmation.

03 · LOCATION EVIDENCE

Maps with clear limits

Distances need a sourced building or entrance pin. Address searches and sector names do not establish an exact hostel location. University distances are straight-line estimates from approximate campus points; they are not walking times or gate-specific routes.

When an exact pin is missing, distance stays unconfirmed. Ask the hostel for its current branch and entrance location.

04 · INDEPENDENT CHECKS · PLANNED

A badge backed by a record

The intended process covers operator identity, a property visit, rooms and shared spaces, recent photographs, reported security arrangements, costs, deposits and written house rules. It requires a dated record, clear scope, follow-up and rechecks.

Criteria and reinspection intervals must be established before badges launch. Payment for a listing will not replace checks. No paid listing or submitted report is evidence of verification.

Before you commit

  1. Confirm rent per resident, every extra charge, deposit and refund conditions.
  2. Visit the actual branch and inspect the room, mess and shared spaces.
  3. Ask about curfew, guests, notice periods and your campus commute.
  4. Request written terms and confirm the recipient before paying directly.

Use “Report incorrect information” inside any real hostel listing to send Aashian a private report. Reports are reviewed; they do not automatically remove a listing or establish a public rating. Review timing is not guaranteed.
